‘La Plagne’ Chalet, Hirafu (4bdr House)

‘La Plagne’ Chalet, is ideally located within Hirafu! Just moments from all the main action and attractions, yet tucked back in a quiet and peaceful side-street, which escapes any noise or traffic.

Built in 1989 and then renovated during 2016-17, this well built, solid and cleverly designed chalet offers the perfect balance of holiday home relaxation and family and friend entertainment.

Comprised of 4 bedrooms, which can sleep up to 12 guests, with 2 bathrooms on separate levels, the main living and entertainment space features a fantastic vaulted, double-height ceiling. This, combined with the large picture-frame windows gives the area a genuine feel of space and flow.

Upon entering the impressive and imposing front door off the triple-car parking area, owners and guests can remove winter attire and hang and store equipment in the dry-area, before making their way upstairs.

This first floor / lower level also has the first of the 4 bedrooms, complete with bathroom and toilet – which makes it very handy for anyone preparing young children for a days skiing or winter activity.

Once upstairs, the second level benefits from the second bathroom and toilet as well as the kitchen with dinning area, and the beautiful living room.

The third level houses the 3 remaining bedrooms (of the 4) and has a unique gallery gangway access to the 4th bedroom which overlooks across and down to the living room and vaulted ceiling.

With underfloor heating on both the first and second levels, in addition to individually controlled panel heaters strategically positioned throughout,  ‘La Plagne’ is the picture-perfect winter chalet. And with well needed and welcomed air-conditioning in the living room ‘La Plagne’ functions as a wonderful all-season retreat for families and friends.

The roof even has a system of heated metal ‘humps’ to assist with controlled snow-shedding during winter. This fantastic safety feature can be activated as and when required by a switch in the main breaker box.

Located a mere hop, skip and a jump from the cozy and friendly JoJo’s Cafe and adventure centre of NAC in Izumikyo 1, ‘La Plagne’ is a short walk from all that is on offer within the famous hub of Hirafu, and only a 10-15min walk to the nearest ski-lifts.

In addition to the easily accessible, walking-distance amenities, hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes, and attractions, ‘La Plagne’ is also moments from the free-shuttle bus operated by Niseko United, and thus connected to all the ski-lift and gondola start points.

Meaning the International Clinic, tennis courts and, perhaps most importantly, Graubunden Cafe, are all within a short stroll or an even quicker bus ride.
